Paper Quest is designed so your books, reading history, and progress remain on your device and under your control.

Information Paper Quest handles

The app handles the DRM-free EPUB, PDF, and CBZ files you import, covers and library metadata, reading positions, notes, highlights, reading-session history, goals, streaks, achievements, Top Books, reading statistics, and app preferences.

On-device storage and backups

Paper Quest stores its library, files, notes, and statistics locally on your device. The current version does not synchronize them through a Noia Software server or iCloud. A complete backup leaves the app only when you explicitly export it to a destination you select, and a restore occurs only when you select a backup file.

Purchases

Apple processes the one-time Lifetime Stats unlock and optional consumable tips. The app uses verified StoreKit transactions to provide the purchase or confirm a tip. Noia Software does not receive your payment-card details, and purchases do not create an account.

Data collection and third parties

Noia Software does not use Paper Quest to collect the contents of your books, your reading history, advertising identifiers, or behavioral analytics, and does not sell or share personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

Retention and deletion

Books, progress, notes, statistics, and settings remain on your device until you remove them or delete the app. Exported backups remain wherever you chose to save them and must be deleted there separately. App Store purchase records remain with Apple.

Children

Paper Quest is not directed to children and Noia Software does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
